Caruso’s Coffee is following the recommendations of the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC), the Ohio Department of Health and the FDA while we continue to produce and roast coffee.
Functioning critical infrastructure is imperative during the response to the COVID-19 emergency for both public health and safety and community well-being. The U.S. Food & Drug Administration (FDA), DHS and the Cybersecurity and Infrastructure Security Agency (CISA) have all deemed the U.S. food supply to be critical infrastructure that should be exempt from state and local restrictions on business operations.
In order to fulfill our responsibility to ensure the continuity of the U.S. food supply, we are continuing our production and distribution operations. Our company is maintaining social distancing measures and other CDC-recommended practices to protect our workers and public health.
Please reference the document below we have shared with our employees and the public to do everything possible to ensure the health and safety of our customers, employees and their loved ones. These policies are subject to change as Caruso’s Coffee continues to monitor updates and best practices from state and federal government as well as the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention.
