Caruso's Coffee to be honored as 2017 Partner in Rehabilitation by Vocational Guidance Services

Recently, Caruso's Coffee was notified by Robert E. Comben, Jr., President and CEO of Vocational Guidance Services, that the Brecksville-based coffee roaster was to be awarded as the recipient of the 2017 Partner in Rehabilitation (Private Sector). Accepting the award on Caruso's Coffee behalf will be Vice President, Dominic Caruso.
This annual award recognizes an organization that has displayed outstanding commitment to working in partnership with Vocational Guidance Services (VGS) to create opportunities for individuals who are disabled and/or disadvantaged. This award, as well as other prestigious decorations will be presented at the Annual Meeting Wednesday, June 14, 2017 at the Embassy Suites Hotel in Independence, Ohio.
VGS, a United Way Agency, is a highly acclaimed, successful, private, not-for-profit vocational rehabilitation agency with over 125 years of dedicated experience serving persons with disabilities or other barriers to employment. Every year, VGS provides a comprehensive range of vocational rehabilitation services as well as paid work opportunities to nearly 4,000 individuals with physical disabilities, mental disabilities, a history of incarceration, or other barriers to employment - all at zero cost to the individual.
